Installing Epoxy Floors
Nevada Custom Coatings uses a professional-grade diamond grinder to prep your concrete. This cleans the concrete and preps it to adhere right with the epoxy, creating a more resilient bond. To halt the spread of concrete dust, we use a tried and tested vacuum with efficient HEPA filtration to remove any concrete particulates and keep your room clean.
After the prep is complete, a wicking epoxy is applied to the floor. This resilient material works its way into all the small holes and fissures in the floor to cover it smoothly. These steps increase the adhesion of epoxy to your floor. Now your epoxy coat will protect your concrete for its lifetime.
After the base coat process is finished, then comes the color coat. This is when the preselected selections in texture, color and pattern are applied. Lastly, a transparent topcoat covers it all to seal it and provide protection from fading and scrapes.
