When Strength is a Requirement
Trowel grade epoxy is the ultimate concrete coat for thickness and longevity! For heavy-duty shops, industrial buildings, chemical plants, and factories, trowel grade epoxies are optimal. They endure more loads, caustics, and traffic. If your concrete takes much punishment, it must have a trowel grade epoxy coating.
With thicker coats comes added time for curing. Ideally, trowel grade epoxy is layered at temperatures of 70 degrees Fahrenheit, or higher. Under that, and the epoxy, with its clear coat, takes longer to cure. The usual curing time is eight to twelve hours for each coating. The complete cure, when average work can begin again, is after 7 days. Below 55 degrees Fahrenheit, trowel grade coatings are best not tried.
Trowel grade demands significant skill and experience to install properly. Nevada Custom Coatings has the teams and equipment needed to match the needs of any industrial or commercial building.
